Comrades Marathon 2012 was held earlier today. For those that are unfamiliar with Gareth's exploits last year, Comrades is a legendary 56 mile race run between Pietermartizburg and Durban, South Africa, with 18,000 participants.
Anyway, this seems as good a time as any to
announce that the Dojo is going to South Africa, en masse, for Comrades Marathon in June 2013. As it stands, we have firm to semi-firm blood oaths from me (Dan), Brian, Alan, and Geoff. Amanda has offered to serve as "chef de mission." And the more the merrier.
Registration opens in September 2013. If you are interested in going, let me know so we can get a group organized.
