Navy/Air Force Half Marathon

Results from Alan:

Congrats to Jeff Redfern , Chris Higby, and Jenny ("the Unchipped") Paul, who ran the Navy Half in 1:14:32 1:17:54, and 0:00:00, respectively.  Chris set PRs at the 10K and 10M as well as HM, so big congrats to Chris.  And not bad to Jeff, finishing 14th while running goal marathon pace.  Also well done to erstwhile/sometime Dojo runners Rachel Clattenburg and Drew Killian, who ran 1:25:45 and 1:21:55, respectively.  If I've missed anyone, let Dan know about it.

Weekend Results

Lehigh Valley Marathon:

Lisa Swartzfager comes in 5th among women, with a 3:12. Looks like a well-paced race, with Lisa picking up a bunch of spots over the last couple miles to get herself on the podium. Great job by Lisa!

Ironman Wisconsin:
John Doyle comes in 180th place overall (out of 2990 competitors), 39th in his age group. He ran an 11:03 overall. John picked up spots the entire way, going from 178th in his age group in the swim, to 41st after the bike, to 39th after the run. And he vastly exceeds my projected performance in an Ironman, which is: getting fished out of a lake by safety boats.

Parks Half Marathon:

Laura Jennings checks in with a 1:32:57, coming in 19th for women at the Parks Half this morning. She was joined by Shlomo Fishman, with a 1:21:44, Rob Wolfe, with a 1:21:08 (3rd in his age group), and Alan Pemberton, with a 1:35:47 (it is almost needless to say, but Alan wins his age group by 2 minutes).

Great job everyone! And as usual, if I missed anyone, it is due to incompetence, not indifference. Please let me know so I can update the post.

Fifth Avenue Mile:

Henry Wigglesworth runs a 4:55, age-graded to a 4:04, and finished as the fastest 57 yr old in the field.
